We will gather @ the Oxford's for a time of intercessory worship, followed by a communal meal to break the Yom Kippur Fast. Schedule below. The meal will be Green-Chile Chicken Enchiladas (details to follow). We will be indoors.

3:00-4:00pm: Sound team setup
4:00-4:30pm: Sound check and worship team prayer
4:30-6:00pm: Intercessory worship
6:00-6:30pm: Meal Prep
Sundown: Community Meal

Those wanting to arrange for childcare during the intercessory worship period should plan on 4:00-6:15pm, which will give you time to arrive and settle in, then pick children up in time to return for the meal. The intercessory worship is meant to be a time of focused reverence, prayer, and worship, so plan accordingly, and feel free to join for the meal if you don't wish to participate in the service.

NOTE:
This is a highly reverent event. As such, we are implementing a few ground rules (or strong requests ;-).

1. We ask that everyone that comes please fast so we have no holes in our wall at this time. Fasting begins sundown Friday.

2. We are also going to request your phones be put away during this time. (maybe just leave it in the car if at all possible)

The seriousness of what will be happening will force the following measure if reverence is not held: you will be asked to leave.

This is an open invitation but promptness is required and milling about generating distractions will not be allowed. Most of us can sit through an hour and a half movie without issue so we ask the same during this time.

This is not a big deal but we do need to appreciate the gravity of what is happening on this day.
